Frequently Asked Questions
Are you insured?
Yes — Porter Aerials carries $1M in drone liability insurance. A Certificate of Insurance can be provided to any client on request, typically within an hour.
Are you FAA Part 107 certified?
Yes. Part 107 is required for any commercial drone work in the US. Most operators who skip it are flying illegally and uninsured on commercial jobs.
What's your service area?
The Nashville metro: Davidson, Williamson, Rutherford, Wilson, and Sumner counties. Most jobs within 30 miles of Brentwood have no travel fee. Further travel quoted separately.
How fast is turnaround?
Real estate photos: 24 hours. Real estate video, residential inspections, and per-visit construction: 48 hours. Commercial inspections: 48-72 hours. Rush delivery available at a premium.
What happens if weather cancels a shoot?
Free reschedule with 24+ hours notice. Inside 24 hours, a small reschedule fee may apply. Better to move a shoot than fly in conditions that produce poor output.
Do you require a deposit?
50% deposit for first-time clients on jobs over $500, and for all retainer engagements. Returning clients are Net-7.
